Guide for redeeming miles for excess baggage on the website

Step 1: Check available miles

Members check miles to redeem excess baggage here. After choose From and To and click “Calculate”, the system will display the itinerary and equivalent miles.

Step 2: Login to the member account

Members visit vietnamairlines.com home page, select “Log-in” section at the top right corner, enter the member number and password, and click “Login”.

Step 3: Redeem miles

At the “Account Information” screen, select Redeem Miles.

At the “Redeem online” screen, select “Redeem Baggage”.

At the receipt of the excess baggage award window, enter the Reservation number and last name on the ticket purchased.

Continue to select the flight sector, beneficiary and quantity of baggage to obtain the award.

Check beneficiary information, bonus baggage, mileage minus, and proceed with authentication by entering the OTP code (sent to registered phone number or email address).

Step 4: Confirm the award

After the payment is completed, a confirmation of the itinerary and flight ticket information will be sent to your registered email address. If you do not receive an email within 01 hour after successful payment, please contact Lotusmiles support section using the below information.

Guidelines for redeeming excess baggage award

Step 1: Members send requests for awards to the following email addresses: vip.lotusmiles@vietnamairlines.com (Millions of miles, Platinum, Gold members) or lotusmiles@vietnamairlines.com (Titan members, Silver, Registration) to check conditions for awards.

The request should include:

• Airline award redemption request;
• Nominee List (applying to Million Milers, Platinum, Gold and Titanium members getting awards for family members);
• Copy of the member’s travel documents (ID/Passport).

Step 2: The Gold Sen cotton program will deduct miles and awards if the member's request meets the eligibility.

Step 3: An award voucher will be sent to the member’s registered email; please contact Vietnam Airlines if no information is received.

Step 1: Members should contact Vietnam Airlines branch offices to pay the taxes and fees (if required) and get the award tickets issued.
