When purchasing tickets online on Vietnam Airlines' website or mobile app, passengers can pay using one of the following methods: • International payment cards (Visa, Master, JCB, Amex, UATP, UnionPay); • Payment methods within Vietnam: Napas Payment Gateway, Momo, ShopeePay; • Country/region-specific payment methods: AliPay, WeChat Pay, Konbini, KCP, Sofort, Paypal; • Post payment: + Applicable to all points of sale: Go to “Manage Booking" on Vietnam Airlines’ website/mobile app + Applicable to points of sale within Vietnam: Internet Banking app, payment via ATM, cash payment at bank counters and convenience stores, international card installment via the NganLuong payment gateway.

Vietnam Airlines accepts the following payment options:
1. Book and reserve your seats for free within 12 hours, and pay later using applicable payment methods.
2. Book at least 3 days before departure and pay a “secure my fare” fee:
- From VND 70,000 per passenger (exclusive of VAT) for Vietnam domestic routes and USD 7 per passenger for international routes.
- The above fee is not refundable. The “secure my fare ”fee applies to adults and over 2-year-old children and does not apply to infants under 2 years old.

1. Pay for holding fee:
- Customers pay the holding fee when booking and select “secure my fare”. The holding fee is not refundable in any circumstances.
- Payment in all forms of payment (except for post-payment).
- After paying the holding fee, the system will send a message confirming the secure-my-fare service and EMD receipt to the customer’s registered email address. Please remember to pay the fare within the time frame notified in the email.
2. Fare payment:
- Payment period: The holding period selected by customers will be between 24 hours and 7 days after booking.
- Payment methods: Passengers access Manage Booking on the Vietnam Airlines website, query the reservation code, and proceed with payment.
Vietnam Airlines only requires card verification for certain transactions. If your transaction is flagged for verification, you will receive an email to the address used for ticket purchase, or our staff may request verification at the airport.
For a change of booking, itinerary, and ticket information, the cardholder is required to present the payment card (the physical card), ID, or passport and e-ticket for verification at Vietnam Airlines sales offices.
