11 November 2021, Vietnam Airlines would like to inform passengers about US entry regulations update:

1.For US citizens, permanent residents and immigrants

· Before departure to the US:

o Negative test for Covid-19 by Antigen or RT-PCR performed within 1 day prior to departure, regardless of vaccination status.

· After arriving in the US: recommended to all passengers

o All passengers must perform a Covid test within 3-5 days after arriving in the US.

o Self-monitor health and isolate if symptoms are detected.

o Follow the recommendations and requirements of the local health authority. See https://www.cdc.gov/publichealthgateway/healthdirectories/index.html

· For people who have not been vaccinated fully:

o Self-isolate for 7 days at your place of residence even if you test negative within 3-5 days.

o If not performing test: self-isolate for 10 days at the place of residence.

o If the passenger has completed Covid-19 treatment within 90 days (excluding vaccination status): no testing is required and no need to self-isolate.

2. For other objects:

·You are only allowed to enter if you have a full vaccination. If passengers are not fully vaccinated, only passengers who are on the list of exempted passengers are allowed to enter the country and must commit to comply with a number of regulations, specifically at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus /2019-ncov/travelers/proof-of-vaccination.html

·Before departure to the US:

o Negative test for Covid-19 by Antigen or RT-PCR performed within 1 day prior to departure, regardless of vaccination status.

·Mandatory for passengers who not fully vaccinated after arriving in the US:

o Get tested within 3-5 days of arrival in the US, unless having a certificate of COVID-19 recovery is confirmed within 90 days.

o Stay at the place of residence for 7 days with a negative test result; unless there is a certificate of Covid-19 recovery within 90 days.

o Self-monitor health and isolate if symptoms are detected.

o If the passenger plans to stay longer than 60 days, the passenger must receive full doses of vaccine within 60 days after arriving in the US or as soon as having a suitable medical condition ; except in cases that passengers can not be injected for unsuitable medical conditions.

· Recommendations for all passengers:

o All passengers must perform a Covid test within 3-5 days after ariving in the US

o Self-monitor health and isolate if symptoms are detected.

o If the passenger has completed Covid-19 treatment within 90 days (excluding vaccination status): no testing is required and no need to self-isolate.

3. Regulations on full vaccination

·Acceptable vaccines:

o One doses: Janssen/Johnson&Johnson.

o Two doses: Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Covaxin, Covishield, BIBP/Sinopharm, Sinovac.

· Passengers are considered fully vaccinated if:

o 14 days have passed since 1 dose of Janssen/Johnson&Johnson or 2 doses of the types listed above.

o Accepting the mixed injection of 2 doses, in which: 14 days have passed since the date of the 2nd injection and 17 days between 2 doses.

·Samples of certificates of full vaccination should contain the following information:

o Personal information: full name, date of birth, passport number matching passenger's information.

o Sources of certification (e.g. health authorities, government entities, etc.)

o Name of vaccine type and date of injection.
