Unfortunately, a member cannot transfer the accrued miles from the Lotusmiles account to the other airline’s mileage accrual program, even if the airline is a member of SkyTeam.
No, the mileage for each flight can only be accumulated to a single accrued account.
Award tickets can be obtained in the following ways: - Redeem at Vietnam Airlines' website/mobile app. - At Vietnam Airlines' sales offices by completing an air award request form or non-air award request form and sending it to the Lotusmiles Program within 2 business days (available for Gold and Platinum members) or 3 business days (available for Silver and Titan members) from the date of flight. Tickets purchased with "Cash & Miles" are similar to regular purchase tickets; therefore, they can be exchanged according to the fare rules.
Lotusmiles members can buy tickets with Cash and Miles method for accompanying persons if they all share a reservation code with the member. However, in the event of a plan change, it is permitted to split the reservation code and does not require a member to accompany their relatives during the journey.
Lotusmiles members can use "Cash & Miles" to purchase tickets at the Vietnam Airlines’ website/mobile app or sales offices.
A member can only gift bonus miles (a minimum of 1,000 miles) from his/her account to others. Please visit here for more details. Notes: Bonus miles are not refundable and are used for redemption only, not for card class qualifying.
The issued award ticket’s itinerary can not be changed, but it is possible to change to upgrade the service or change the flight date if available. The member may have to redeem additional bonus miles to cover the difference (for class upgrade or change in award redemption season) and pay additional fees, taxes, surcharges, and so on arise for the change.
Lotusmiles members can accumulate miles from flights of Vietnam Airlines or SkyTeam airlines within 6 months before the registration date.
A member cannot receive qualifying miles from other Lotusmiles accounts. However, a member can obtain bonus miles from relatives (with a fee), which will then be converted from bonus miles to qualifying miles. Visit here for more details.
Members will have to pay related taxes, fees, and surcharges such as petrol surcharges, security surcharges, and airport taxes.
Tickets purchased with the “Cash & Miles” method can accumulate miles according to the current regulations of the Lotusmiles Program, similar to regular purchase tickets.
