General conditions

Ticket refund period: At least before the flight's departure date.

Refund time: Vietnam Airlines will refund the ticket to the bank account that the passenger used to purchase the ticket within 15 working days from the date of the ticket refund operation completion. The time limit for receiving a refund depends on the regulations of the passenger's card-issuing bank. To check your account's refund status, please contact the card issuing bank directly.

After the ticket refund process is completed, the system will send a refund confirmation to the passenger's registered email address.


Instructions for refunding tickets on the website

Passengers can request their ticket refunds on the Vietnam Airlines website by following these steps:

Step 1: Passengers go to the vietnamairlines.com website. In the “Manage Booking” section, enter the Reservation Code (PNR)/E-ticket Number and Last Name, then click “Search” then select “Add Services”.

Step 2: At the “Manage Booking” section, passengers scroll to the “Post-sales help” and select “Refund (cancel booking and refund)”.

Step 3: The system will redirect to the “Refund” page. Here, passengers check flight segment information, contact information, and refund amount, then click “Refund”.

Step 4: The passenger's refund request has been confirmed. The system will send detailed refund information to the email address you provided while booking.

Vietnam Airlines will refund your card issuing bank within 15 business days. The time it takes to receive a refund in your account is determined by the card-issuing bank's policies.
