Taxes and service charges stipulated by the Vietnamese authorities

Passenger service charge - Domestic (JC code)

• Passengers from 12 years old: the charge ranges from USD 8 to USD 25 (exclusive of VAT) per passenger depending on different airports.
• For children from 2 to under 12 years old: 50% of the above charge.
• Infants under 02 years old: no charge.

Passenger service charge - International (AX code)

• Passengers from 12 years old: the charge ranges from VND 59,000 to VND 100,000 (inclusive of VAT) per passenger depending on different airports.
• For children from 2 to under 12 years old: 50% of the above charge.
• Infants under 02 years old: no charge.

Value Added Tax (UE code)

The value added tax applied to the Vietnam domestic itineraries is 8%.

The policy of service charge refund applicable to nonrefundable tickets

Vietnam Airlines implements the policy of service charge refund that Vietnam Airlines collected for the authorities. The service charge refund policy is as follows:

• Applicable to unused service charge for passengers traveling on international and Vietnam domestic flights (JC/AX Code) and security screening service charge (C4 Code).
• This policy applies to nonrefundable tickets purchased on the Vietnam Airlines website/mobile app or at the official Vietnam Airlines sales offices/agents.
• After 3 months from the date of passengers’ refund requests, the service charge will be refunded in cash for the passengers named on the tickets.
• Passengers contact the Contact Center (19001100) or the sales offices at Vietnam Airlines branches for service charge refund.
