In some cases, the baggage allowances printed on your ticket may differ from the allowance mentioned above. Baggage allowances printed on your ticket will be applied.
If your itinerary includes flights operated by carriers other than Vietnam Airlines, different baggage rules may apply. Please find the full details of your baggage allowances for each flight in your itinerary on your ticket or on the operating carrier’s website before traveling.
For itineraries to/from the Americas, the baggage allowance policy of the first marketing carrier will be applied for the whole route. (The first marketing carrier is the first carrier whose code appears on your ticket).
If the journey includes multiple sectors and carriers, baggage allowances may differ between carriers.
Unless otherwise specified, the maximum weight per piece of baggage is 32kg, and total dimensions may not exceed 203cm. If passengers need to bring overweight and/or oversized baggage, please kindly contact Vietnam Airlines official agents or Vietnam Airlines offices for further information.

Both journeys are between Asia and Europe; therefore, the free baggage allowance applied for an adult traveling on any of these two journeys is 30kg when flying in Economy Class or 40kg when flying in Premium Economy/ Business Class.

Oxygen for medical use on board (OXYG)(*)
For passengers using oxygen service on board
Charges for using oxygen service on board include:
+ For Vietnam domestic sectors: VND 2,000,000 per one unit (net fare).
+ For international sectors: USD 200 per one unit.
The escorts of passengers using OXYG pay the fare with free baggage allowance like normal passengers.
Stretcher service on board (STCR)
For passengers using stretcher service on board:
Charge of stretcher service: Equal to 6 times of the highest applicable adult fares plus surcharges.
The escorts of passengers using STCR pay fare with free baggage allowance like normal passengers.
Oxygen and stretcher service on board (STCR/OXYG*)
For passengers using the oxygen and stretcher service on board:

Unaccompanied Minor/Young Passengers Travelling Alone (UM/YPTA)

Accompanying cabin crew charge (if any): Applicable adult fare on the same class of service of UM and appropriate surcharges.
Extra seat service (EXST)
Fare: passengers pay the fare as a normal passenger.
Free baggage allowance: passengers get 2 times the free baggage allowance weight limit of their respective journey.
EXST charge: equals 100% of the applicable adult fare plus surcharges for each additional seat at the time of purchasing.
Wheelchair for cabin (WCHC)

Free of charge.
The wheelchair of the passenger shall be accepted for carriage free of charge.
