Are you concerned as parents about an upcoming journey for a family with children, or will your 7-year-old child have to take the flight alone because of unexpected work? Understanding these concerns, Vietnam Airlines' children's service is prepared to deliver convenient and safe flights for young passengers.
Vietnam Airlines transports strollers for infants (under 2 years old) for free in checked or carry-on luggage. The stroller must fit into a baggage compartment in the passenger cabin. Passengers should contact Vietnam Airlines sales offices to book the service at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Passengers are advised to be at the airport at least 02 hours before departure to ensure sufficient flight check-in time.
Vietnam Airlines provides bassinet service for free for infants under two years old and weighing no more than 11kg. Please be aware that bassinets are provided in a limited quantity and on a first-come, first-served basis.

According to Vietnam Airlines regulations, children aged 2 to under 12 must be accompanied by adults. For unaccompanied minors, please book the unaccompanied minor service in advance.
Vietnam Airlines does not apply restrictions to passengers travelling with children over the age of 14. When travelling with children under the age of 14, passengers must meet the general and special conditions outlined in the itinerary below.

Child passengers on Vietnam Airlines are always entitled to specific baggage allowances.
Carry-on baggage for children under two years old includes 1 piece and should not exceed 3kg (including food, milk, and nappy) and one compact stroller/cradle that fits inside an aircraft baggage compartment. If carry-on baggage compartments are out of place, strollers/cradles are transported as checked baggage (free of charge).
Checked baggage pieces for children under-2-year-old infants (not seated separately) are free of charge:
An infant under the age of 2 who does not have a seat is charged 10% of the adult passenger's fare.
Children between the ages of 2 and 12:

Passengers travelling with children should arrive at the airport around 2 hours before the departure time and prepare the necessary documentation for check-in. Vietnam Airlines advises passengers travelling with children or in family groups to check in online to save time and select suitable seats in advance.
On Vietnam Airlines flights, the Kid Zone entertainment program, which includes various engaging cartoons, a selection of children's music, and selected video games, will help keep young passengers busy and entertained, resulting in less stress and a more comfortable flying experience.
Passengers are required to have adequate travel documents for all flights on all concerned airlines and to abide by national laws and regulations. Vietnam Airlines does not take responsible if passengers are denied entry into any country.
