Terms and Conditions of Check-in Cancellation

What is “Check-in Cancellation”?

  • Check-in Cancellation is available when passengers cancel their pre-reserved seats to keep their tickets and flights with the original unchecked in status.
  • ​​​​​​​Check-in Cancellation does NOT include flight cancellation or ticket refund/cancellation.


When should passengers cancel their check-in?

  • If passengers have already checked-in to pre-reserve seats through Check-in function on Vietnam Airlines’ website/application, they can use Check-in Cancellation function to make changes.

How can passengers change their flights after cancelling check-in?

For tickets issued at ticketing offices or agents, please contact them or our Contact Center within the validity period of the ticket.

For tickets purchased on Vietnam Airlines’ website/application, passengers can change their flights by one of following methods:

  • Changing tickets on Vietnam Airlines’ website/app at Manage My Booking function;
  • Filling in our online request form here.
