Before departure, passengers need to fully prepare the necessary documents required for flying from Vietnam to international destinations, such as air tickets, valid passports, and forms of identification. In addition, passengers flying from Vietnam to Australia should be aware of the following document requirements.
The Australian Government offers different types of visas depending on the purpose and length of stay of visitors. Each type of visa has specific requirements and benefits. To apply for the appropriate visa type, passengers should go to the Australian Visa and Immigration information page.
According to Australian laws, passengers must complete an Incoming Passenger Card (IPC); please refer to the information and forms to help with the process. The Incoming Passenger Card is sent to the passenger on the aircraft or at the arrival terminal.
Australia will no longer require vaccination proof from July 6, 2022. Accordingly, passengers traveling in Australia are not required to take a Covid-19 test or provide proof of immunization.
According to regulations, passengers may bring an unlimited amount of cash into Australia, but if they bring AUD 10,000 or more, they must declare it.
