From Vietnam to the UK

Before departure, passengers need to fully prepare the necessary documents required for flying from Vietnam to international destinations, such as air tickets, valid passports, and forms of identification. In addition, passengers flying from Vietnam to the United Kingdom should be aware of the following document requirements.

Visa

The UK Transit Visa

Passengers whose final destination is outside the Common Travel Area (CTA) may make a connection via Airside Transit or Landside Transit.

Airside Transit allows passengers to connect to a flight without border control, whereas Landside Transit requires passing through border control to connect to an onward flight. Please refer to the Transit Form for more information.

Depending on the circumstances, passengers transiting through the UK may be required to apply for a Direct Airside Transit visa or a Visitor in Transit visa.

The UK Entry Visa

All visitors to the UK, regardless of nationality and including minors, require a visa. The UK entry visas are classified into several types; passengers should check the UK Visas and Immigration information website to determine the suitable visa type.
