Visa

French entry visa

Foreign nationals wishing to enter France must have valid visas. Vietnamese citizens seeking French visas may visit the website Apply for French Visas in Vietnam for further details. Passengers can access the France-Visas support system to determine the appropriate visa type.

If the stay is less than 90 days, passengers have to obtain a short-term visa, known as a "Schengen VISA" to enter France for tourist, short-term business, or visiting relatives. Passengers can visit General Information on Short-term Visas for more details.

If the stay is longer than 90 days, passengers need a long-term visa.

Passengers staying in France for fewer than five days must apply for a transit visa. The passenger must present evidence that satisfies the entry requirements at the third destination. If passengers do not leave the airport transit area, they do not need to apply for transit visas, except for special cases.
