Before departure, passengers need to fully prepare the necessary documents required for flying from Vietnam to international destinations, such as air tickets, valid passports, and forms of identification. In addition, passengers flying from Vietnam to Indonesia should be aware of the following document requirements.
Passengers entering Indonesia must have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry. Other forms of identification must be valid for at least 12 months. Passengers can visit passport regulations for entering Indonesia for more details.
Vietnamese nationals entering Indonesia (including Bali) for a maximum stay of 30 days do not need visas, provided that they have passports valid for at least 6 months and return tickets. In case of longer stay, passengers must apply for visas according to regulations.
Citizens of Brunei Darussalam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Timor Leste are exempt from visas to enter Indonesia. Passengers from countries that are not on the list must apply for a visa in accordance with the regulations.

Passengers must complete the online immigration declaration before arriving in Indonesia. Please be aware to fill out your personal information, flight information, and accommodation address in Indonesia fully and accurately.
From June 9, 2023, the Indonesian government will no longer require proof of vaccination or testing. Accordingly, passengers traveling in Indonesia are not required to take a Covid-19 test or provide proof of immunization.
