Before departure, passengers need to fully prepare the necessary documents required for flying from Vietnam to international destinations, such as air tickets, valid passports, and forms of identification. In addition, passengers flying from Vietnam to Singapore should be aware of the following document requirements.
Passengers' passports must be valid for at least six months from the first date of entry.
Vietnamese citizens are exempt from visas to enter Singapore for stays of up to 30 days as long as their passports are valid for at least 6 months, they have return tickets, and they can demonstrate their financial capacity throughout their stays.
According to the regulations, Vietnamese citizens who stay in Singapore for longer than 30 days must apply for a visa.
Passengers must fill out the SG Arrival Card within 3 days before entering Singapore. Once completed, the passenger will receive a confirmation email, which must be presented to customs. Cases where SG Arrival Card is not required:
Depending on the circumstances, customs officers may ask travelers for their financial proof. To avoid unpleasant situations, passengers should bring a certain amount of cash before entering the country.
Vietnamese visitors to Singapore will no longer have to declare their health or Covid-19 vaccination status from February 13, 2023.
If passengers have visited one of the countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission, they must provide an International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever within six days of arriving in Singapore. If passengers do not meet the requirements, they must quarantine for 6 days from the date of departure from countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission.
According to regulations, passengers can bring up to SGD 20,000 in cash into Singapore without declaring it. Passengers carrying more than the above amount of cash must declare it to customs upon entry.
