Before departure, passengers need to fully prepare the necessary documents required for flying from Vietnam to international destinations, such as air tickets, valid passports, and forms of identification. In addition, passengers flying from Vietnam to Cambodia should be aware of the following document requirements.
Passengers' passports must be valid for at least six months from the first date of entry.
Vietnamese citizens are exempt from visas to enter Cambodia for a stay of no more than 30 days, provided that their passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry. According to the regulations, Vietnamese citizens who stay in Cambodia for longer than 30 days must apply for a visa.
Passengers can visit Visa Exemption to see a list of countries that do not require visas while visiting Cambodia, as well as their corresponding lengths of stay, or visit Cambodia Visa for further information on visa types or e-visa to apply for an electronic visa.
From July 1, 2024, all passengers must submit a declaration via e-Arrival card within 7 days before arriving in Cambodia. Passengers can access www.arrival.gov.kh or the e-Arrival App.
International visitors to Cambodia would no longer have to declare their health or COVID-19 vaccination status from October 3, 2022.
According to regulations, passengers can bring up to USD 10,000 in cash into Cambodia without declaring it. Passengers carrying more than the above amount of cash must declare it to customs upon entry.
Pets entering Cambodia must be fully licensed and have a health check.
Cambodia has very tight regulations for bringing food, meat, or plants into the country. Passengers carrying goods must accurately declare the goods, have a phytosanitary certificate, and properly package the goods so that they do not break, leak, or spill during transportation.
