Before departure, passengers need to fully prepare the necessary documents required for flying from Vietnam to international destinations, such as air tickets, valid passports, and forms of identification. In addition, passengers flying from Vietnam to the U.S. should be aware of the following document requirements.
Passenger passports must be valid for 6 months from the expected date of leaving the U.S.

Passengers who need to enter the United States for a short period (for tourism, business purposes, etc.) can fill out the DS-160 form online and follow the instructions.
In addition, the United States waives entry visas in specific circumstances that satisfy the requirements of the Visa Waiver Program administered by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The I-94 Immigration Form is sent to passengers on the aircraft or at the arrival airport. Passengers can also refer to the declaration form in Vietnamese.
Although it is not required, travelers are advised to prepare documents and proof of financial adequacy for usage during their stay in the United States.
International travelers to the United States are no longer required to declare their health or immunization status from May 12, 2023, according to official information from the US Department of State.
